The BIG Show lived up to its name. And ReviewTrackers was there to be part of the show.
One of the 50 fastest-growing trade events in the world, the National Retail Federation’s 102nd Annual Convention and Expo (#NRF13) – entitled Retail’s BIG Show – wraps up today at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The expo gathered over 27,000 attendees and featured 500 exhibitors spread across 162,000 square feet of awesomeness.
This year, the event added a digital flair to demonstrate the evolution of the retail industry, which is in the middle of unprecedented change. According to a study released by Forrester, more than $1 trillion in annual retail sales – either online or offline (in-store) – are Web-influenced purchases. So, to keep up with the times, numerous exhibitors showcased new interactive solutions designed to address retail’s new challenges.
Speaking of interactive solutions: ReviewTrackers’ very own Chris Campbell was there. (Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello!) Our Chief Tracking Officer reached out to the thousands of retailers who were seeking a solution in online review monitoring, one of the most important challenges that business owners and retailers face today.
“For retailers to thrive in today’s global arena, they have to constantly listen to what customers are saying – especially on review sites like Yelp, Google+ Local, and Foursquare,” Chris said. “Our review monitoring platform helps businesses track these reviews, ratings, and comments – from one central location – so that they can listen closely and respond promptly to what customers are saying online.”
Chris just sent in some photos from NYC, so be sure to check out the sights from #NRF13 and get an idea of the amazing energy on the expo floor!
