Hoping to help businesses tap the power of online reviews, travel review website TripAdvisor recently introduced a free new tool for hotels, restaurants, and attractions: the TripAdvisor Full Review Form widget.

Available at the TripAdvisor Widget Center, the Full Review Form enables business owners and marketers to collect customer reviews and opinion through their own websites. The review widget also provides a new way of encouraging positive reviews – and of enabling TripAdvisor users to rate and share their overall guest experiences (or individual elements like service and value) just as they would on the TripAdvisor website.

Customers and travelers, meanwhile, now have the option of completing the TripAdvisor review process without having to leave the business website.

“Research shows that 81 percent of travelers find user reviews important when determining which hotel to stay at during their trip,” said Christine Petersen, President of TripAdvisor for Business. “And nearly half won’t book a property if it doesn’t have reviews on sites like TripAdvisor.”

Founded in February 2000, the travel, attractions, restaurant, and hotel review website has since grown to reach more than 32 million consumers each month, all of whom research their travel purchases using TripAdvisor. The site also has over 75 million travel reviews and opinions posted by users around the world; this includes 1.6 million reviews of local businesses, more than 110,000 destination reviews, over 610,000 hotel reviews, approximately 880,000 restaurant reviews, and about 11 million traveler photos.

Do you own or run a hotel, attraction, or restaurant? Take advantage of the Full Review Form widget by getting your business listed on TripAdvisor and claiming your listing. And if you need help in tracking and monitoring travel reviews of your business locations, you can sign up today at ReviewTrackers and get started.
