The ReviewTrackers app in Ryan Holmes’ social media management creation Hootsuite now allows users to assign tasks to people on their team, making it easier to monitor and manage custom feedback.
Here at ReviewTrackers, we made a commitment to help businesses monitor, collect and analyze critical consumer-generated data: in particular, online reviews. That is why we’re so thrilled we are working with Hootsuite, the world’s most widely used social relationship platform, to bring online reviews to Hootsuite’s social media management application.
After months of working closely with the Hootsuite team, we introduced an all-new ReviewTrackers app in the Hootsuite App Directory in 2014. The ReviewTrackers app in Hootsuite is designed to help users effectively monitor and manage their online reviews.
We’re so excited because our partnership with Hootsuite makes perfect sense. These days, businesses have to stay engaged and manage conversations not only on social media, but also on review sites and business discovery apps. And as more and more consumers rely on reviews – 88 percent of Internet users now read reviews to determine the quality of a local business – it has become extremely crucial for business owners of all sizes across all industries to listen to, manage, and respond to what customers are saying online.
Simply put: not only do online reviews generate important customer insights; they are also influential in shaping one’s online business reputation.
Tracking reviews on Hootsuite is one of the features that our users had been asking for, and that’s why we built the app.
As part of the ReviewTrackers integration, users can seamlessly track and monitor reviews from sites like TripAdvisor, Google+, and Foursquare (among many others) from their own Hootsuite streams. A tab powered by ReviewTrackers technology can be added by users to display local business reviews alongside other social signals, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
Moreover, the reviews can easily be shared across your social networks on Hootsuite. The option is great for businesses who have received positive reviews and wish to build buzz around their business or brand.
Get started with the ReviewTrackers App in Hootsuite
Here’s how to get started with monitoring and managing your reviews via the ReviewTrackers app in Hootsuite:
Sign into Hootsuite.
Expand the menu on the left side of your Hootsuite dashboard and click on “App Directory.”
On the search box for App Directory, type in “ReviewTrackers.” Alternatively, you can find and read more info about the app by going to: http://appdirectory.hootsuite.com/158/review-trackers
Click “Install App.”
Once installed, you will be prompted to enter your ReviewTrackers account login information. Type it in and click “Authenticate with ReviewTrackers.”
Once logged in, you can create a new Hootsuite tab dedicated exclusively to your stream of online reviews. Or you can add the reviews stream to an already existing tab.
The stream you add using the ReviewTrackers app also gives you the option to choose the business location whose reviews you’d like to track. To choose, just click the Location Pin icon on top of the stream and there you’ll see a dropdown menu that lists all the business locations being tracked under your ReviewTrackers account.
Launched as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application in 2012, the ReviewTrackers platform features proprietary data collection technology designed to collect, centralize, and analyze consumer-generated reviews on all major review sites, enabling businesses to listen closely and respond promptly to what their customers are saying online.
“One of the goals when we developed ReviewTrackers was to become the Hootsuite for online reviews,” says Chris Campbell, ReviewTrackers CEO and Founder. “It’s even more exciting to actually work together with Hootsuite. To be able to partner with the leader in social relationship allows our team to extend ReviewTrackers’ reach, as well as to further support businesses as they seek to uncover unique, actionable insights that drive customer engagement levels and performance.”
